Neopian medium carrier

This particular ship, the Neopian Riendel- class medium carrier, is used in the use of a starfighter carrier role during the 2nd neopian war. The carrier is often used when aerial reinforcement is called in, The carrier boast a load of 3 squadrons of hyperwing V fighters (36 fighters), 3 drop ships, and a squadron of interceptor gunboats. The ship is also very well armor and comes with advanced long range sensors and communications systems to help coordinate atacks and call in fighters, but lacked in armaments, with only 10 turbolaser batteries, and a few point laser canons, it did not hold well as the larger dreadnaught in direct combat and was often put in the role of a support ship.

A battle group often has 2 or 3 carriers, or more in a defense fleet, the carrier is also popular for a hit and run operation where quick offloading of starfighters are needed.

The ship is still used only now for supply ship roles.
