Amelia- Present and Final Design by WMDiscovery93 Amelia- Present and Final Design by WMDiscovery93
So here it is, the last and final design for Amelia.

When revising old designs, I wanted to fix up old design flaws I had in her third design and to include a more feasible design that would still be functional and different, yet still resembling her third look.

And so this is the result, major changes to the lower body in terms of styling and details added/ changed, and a few discrete details added into the upper armor and a new look for Amelia's face and style. Hopefully this will be the final design for Amelia as a cybernetic cyborg-taur.

Hope you like it, and many more coming soon, oh and Merry Christmas! ^^

This is a cool work!
But I have a some questions.
As far as I know from playing of the Quake 4 computer game, the local cyborgs (stroggs) made of a few days, and usually they do not have hair, fed from special sources of biological substances, etc ... And most importantly - they have suppressed identity, by a special chip mounted in their brains...
How Amelia kept a such a good look, especially if her body specially was exhausted by various (and nonsense) torture for 15 years? It is her own hair? Why her identity was saved?

Those are some very good questions, to explain, during the 15 year period (some of the experiments, ex. her spinal reconstruction, sometimes took days, or even years to complete due to the delicate, and important nature of some vital areas), the scientists were focused on her body, i.e. spine, nervous system, muscle groups, etc. and left her head in ,relative terms, alone, only managing to shave off some areas to make clear for spinal intergration, however, the hair always grew back in short time, so that might explain why she still has her hair.

But she might not even been able to even show her face or even had hair if the last experiment was to be completed, which was to ultimately transform her mind and body into a weapon. However, the experiment was somewhat rushed due to officials funding the project coming to see the final test, and because of this the scientists bothered to not shave her as it was redundant to do so, since her head would be concealed in her helmet.

Possibly the only reason she still has her identity and looks somewhat intact was that due to the experiments and torture, her mind was unstable and filled with rage and insanity waiting to be let out to wreak havoc, and it did.

She escaped before they even had a chance to ultimately as you put, surpress her identity.

Hope this made sense

Thank you very much for the detailed answer to my question!
I just think, that changing of the biochemistry of the organism, and especially - the blood can lead to hair loss, as occurs in stroggs case.
In my opinion - the machines that caused of her suffering were necessary for a kind of training... Something similar to the experiments of doctor Pavlov)) To affect the psyche this is not the best approach. Now widely used a drugs and hypnosis for a variety of effects on the psyche and the nervous system. This is more clearly, I think...

Incidentally, a similar story I've seen [link] . This girl is also partially a cyborg and perspective super-soldier. She, too, but more or less voluntary circumstances, is in the brutal organization where it was subjected to experiments. Finally the moment came when she and a few others rebelled and found the path to freedom: [link] .

Good luck!

Your welcome! For the reason for her not losing hair, one can surmise that she's incredibly lucky,

as for the training, only perhaps a few of the experiments were meant for such actions, while other "less meaningful" experiments were done because of the unethical, but to them useful, application it could have in advancement in weapons, and some mostly because of her "abnormalities", which meant that a bit of discrimination was invovled.

Interesting, what an unusual coincidence.^^

It's not luck, but only "flexible" bone marrow and liver that were so, or have been modified correctly.
Does she needs a food and oxygen? For 15 years they may to grown in her body an alternative biological system (symbiont) that supports anaerobic respiration, feeding the organism with its own sources. This organism can completely stop without damage to the desired time (for a long time), and stably works, when the body temperature is below of freezing point of water, as in some polar fishes...

>>but to them useful, application it could have in advancement in weapons//

Indeed, I meant the first phase, described in the section [link]

>>Interesting, what an unusual coincidence.^^
This is not coincidence, but some sexual perversion... All you suggested little a "binding game")) Or not?
I think so.

The hair, while it can be effected by the nutrient output of the liver, is not wholly reliant on the liver function, as her hair now requires a flow of nutrient, which is supplied by the H-E blood; which brings into account on how she gets nutrients,

Due to the extensive modifiction of her liver, it now ,instead of providing nutrients, acts as a source of energy by having plant-based molecular organisms(native to her universe similar to algae)living inside the liver; They function in a way similar to photosynthesis, but requires electrolytes (provided by the Fusion core)and oxygen(her breathing) in order to produce glucose(the ubiquitous fuel of vertebrates)and hydrogen which is then mixed into the H-E fusion along with several elements of metal(such as potassium, calcium, etc.) in order to produce the blood which now sustains her, the blood is recycled through her body and back to the core so it's a continuous flow with the core being the main output of the nutrients and electric energy required.

So in a way, she relies on both aerobic (her breathing to supply oxygen for glucose production) and anearobic (electrolyte provided by the H-E Fusion Core) respiration, although the sytem is not perfect as an organism as she requires sleep in order to maintain glucose and hydrogen-electrolyte levels.

in that particular picture, those are just some that that took place over the 15 year span, not exactly in any particular order, the first was actually meant for "unethical methods of interrogations", that was simply a prototype, with Amelia being an unfortunate victim to it.

I'm not sure what mean by "sexual perversion" or "binding game", I just thought that I'd never run into a similar backstory.

Thank you for the clarification!
About a biological system, so I imagine it's similar about as represented from you.
Blood is a complex biological system - not just a liquid, but a set of interacting organisms. That is, they need to create an artificial analogue of the erythrocyte, find a way to replenish of their number ...
Blood should carry the oxygen more efficiently, where necessary curdle, but do not form clots and to ensure the transfer of protective (immune) lymph cells (as far as I remember) ...
Are they planned to increase of her vitality on any way? Such as: active and self-locking circulatory system, forcing tissue regeneration?
The use of special drugs may increase the rate of reaction of the nervous system. Any biological nervous system loses to cybernetic system for many reasons. That only can be left for the biological operator - making a decisions.
Cybernetic body will "to know" the karate and biological brain just "press" on the "Ctrl" key))

On the latter point. Sorry, I was incorrect (Oh my terrible English!). I should have to use the word "fetish" non "perversion". We will not continue of this matter.

Thank you!

To be honest, I wanted to work on the story and character first, and all technical details later, so what reasons I came up with for Amelia's Physiological state was based on limited research and sci-fi knowledge.

Oh, and thanks for the favorites and deviantwatch! ^^

I am pleased to watch of your works!

Oh, and the reason for her needing a "biological substance" is that her new body's new "heart", the H-E Fusion Core, would not be able to sufficiently run on normal blood and requires a more energized equivalent, a hydrogen-electrolyte oxygen infused "blood" that would be able to power her armor, weapons, and most importantly, her life support systems. This might also explain why her transformation took 15 years, because in order to use such "blood", they had to reconstruct her veins in order to facilitate the substance.

You can actually learn more about it here, ^^ [link]

She doesn't look as furious as the previous designs and a little like she's resigned.

And quite a bit larger when it comes to the lower centaur body.

That being said... Is that tail original or artificial?

I actually wanted to go for that, to show that she's grown mature, but still holding regret and pain, causing her to be somewhat cynical. I've actually wanted to make her lower body larger, because in the past designs, her upper body seemed to be off proportion for her and I wanted to have her look like she's of an imposing height of eight feet,

That's actually an interesting question about her tail, since it's an artificial tail but it holds a different purpose that what it would look, because in her angered/ insane state, or what it was originally intended by the scientists to be, it would have been a sharpened whip that acts like a fluid blade with a scyth like tip at the end, but because the body connects with her mind, it instead took on a form of her original tail, as it was made of a reactive "fluid metal weave that acted as hair which when many are put together can form a bladed tail, or a near realitic organic tail.

unfortunately no, there's no one else like Amelia in her world, which makes it even more heart racking for her since she now only has a few things left in her life to relate to, except for her own world.

Yeah. So I guess from her world she is from, she is pretty much the only taur in the story, huh? ^^ :) If so, that makes her very unique to her character.
